Many expect their union to come to the rescue when needed.  Yes, that is actually their job in representing the members of the union.  Are you doing your part?  Do you attend meetings and educate yourself on the rights and benefits your union has fought so hard in getting for each and every one of you?  

You should.  If you haven't started understanding your rights and benefits, now is a good time to start.  It's never too late to get educated in life.
